The Code of Conduct applies to the mana gement, all executives and all employees, regardless of their function, position or type of employment.

Quality and Responsibility
The quality of our products and services is a key factor in our company’s success. Every employee contributes to the strong reputation of Sachsen Fahnen through careful, conscientious, and responsible work.
We act responsibly toward our customers, business partners, and society as a whole. In doing so, we also consider the impact of our decisions and actions beyond the boundaries of our company.
Respect and Fairness
Respectful and fair interaction is the foundation of a trusting and productive working environment. We treat colleagues, customers, and business partners with appreciation, openness, and mutual respect. Discrimination, bullying, harassment or any other form of degrading behavior have no place in our company and will not be tolerated.
Customer Orientation
Our customers are at the center of everything we do. We seek to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. In all customer relationships, we act with reliability, transparency, and a strong focus on finding practical solutions.
Sustainability
As a manufacturing company, we are aware of our environmental and social responsibility. The careful use of resources, the avoidance of waste and the continuous improvement of uor processes are integral parts of our corporate culture.
3. Integrity and Compliance with the Law
4. Conflicts of Interest and Secondary Activities
Compliance with applicable laws, official regulations, and internal company policies is an essential principle of Sachsen Fahnen. All employees are required to observe the relevant legal and regulatory requirements and to perform their duties responsibly and in the best interests of the company. Business decisions must be based solely on objective considerations. Personal interests or external influences must not improperly affect business decisions.
Managers have a particular responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of this Code of Conduct. They must make sure that employees are aware of the relevant rules, understand them, and are able to apply them in their day-to-day work. Employees are encouraged to report any potential violations of legal requirements or internal policies without delay, either to their supervisor or through the whistleblower system.
5. Handling of Gifts and Benefits
Business decisions must not be influenced by personal benefits. For this reason, the offering or acceptance of gifts, invitations, or other benefits is only permitted within the scope of customary business practice. Such benefits must never be of a nature or extent that could improperly influence business decisions or create even the appearance of such influence. Transparency and restraint are the guiding principles in this context.

6. Fair competition
Sachsen Fahnen is committed to the principles of free and fair competition.
All employees are required to comply with applicable antitrust and competition laws. Agreements on prices, the allocation of markets or any other coordinated conduct with competitors are strictly prohibited.
Information about competitors may only be obtained by lawful means. Unfair business practices and misleading statements are not tolerated.
7. Data Protection and Confidentiality
The protection of personal data and confidential company information is of the highest importance at Sachsen Fahnen. All employees are required to process personal data solely in accordance with applicable data protection laws and to safeguard confidential information appropriately.
Business and trade secrets must not be disclosed without authorization or used for personal purposes. The obligation to maintain confidentiality continues to apply even after the end of the employment relationship.

8. Information security and IT use
The use of IT systems, internet access, and digital applications is permitted only in accordance with the applicable company policies.
All employees are required to handle IT systems and data responsibly and to observe appropriate measures to protect against unauthorized access, data loss and misuse. The use of digital technologies, inlcuding AI-based applications and assistance systems, is permitted only within the framework of the company’s internal requirements.
9. Fair working conditions and Remuneration
We comply with applicable labor law requirements and the principles of internationally recognized labor standards. Our employees receive at least the legally required remuneration, including the applicable statutory minimum wage, as well as all mandatory social benefits.
Working hours are governed by the applicable legal provisions. Overtime may only be performed within the legally permissible framework and is compensated or offset in accordance with staturtory or contractual requirements.
Our aim is to foster long-term, fair, and reliable employment relationships.
10. Respect, Equal Treatment and Working Environment
We promote a working environment characterized by mutual respect, fairness, and trust.
Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or bullying are not tolerated under any circumstances. Personnel decisions, including those relating to hiring, development, and promotion, are based solely on qualifications, performance, and suitability.
11. Occupational Safety and Operational Protection
The safety of our employees is of the highest priority at Sachsen Fahnen.
Occupational Health and Safety
All employees are required to comply with applicable safety regulations, operational instructions, and protective measures, and to actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. Workplaces, machines, and work equipment must be used responsibly at all times. Potential hazards, safety-related incidents, and near misses must be reported immediately so that appropriate measures can be taken to prevent future risks.

Occupational Safety Training
Occupational health and safety is of great importance at Sachsen Fahnen. To help prevent workplace accidents and health risks, employees receive regular instruction on safety-related matters.
These include, in particular:
- regular occupational health and safety training
- training on the safe operation of machines and work equipment
- instruction on emergency measures and appropriate conduct in the event of danger or fire
- training on the use of personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment is provided to employees in accordance with operational requirements. Occupational safety training is carried out at least once a year and additionally whenever there is a change in duties, the introduction of new work equipment or special hazardous situations.
Sachsen Fahnen has established structured or ocesses for managing occupationalhealth and safety. These include, in particular, hazard asessments, regular training, the documentation of safety-related measures and continuous improvement activities in the field of occupational safety. These processes are based on recognized principles of an occupational health and safetx management system, even where no formal certification is in place.
12. Environmental responsibility and Sustainability
As a manufacturing company, Sachsen Fahnen recognizes its responsibility to handle natural resources with care. We are committed to complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and to continuously improving our environmental performance.
The efficient use of energy, water, and materials, the avoidance of waste and the recycling and reuse of resources are integral parts of our operational practices.

13. Whistleblower system
Employees, applicants and former employees have the opportunity to report potential violations of legal requirements or of this Code of Conduct through the following link:
Reports are treated confidentially. Persons who submit reports in good faith must not suffer any disadvantage as a result. The whistleblower system is intended to help identify misconduct at an early stage and to enable appropriate measures for its prevention and remediation.
14. Implementation and Responsibility
Compliance with this Code of Conduct is the responsibility of all employees.
Managers bear a particular responsibility to promote adherence to these principles and to lead by example through their conduct. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in measures under employment law.
This Code of Conduct is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect legal or organizational developments.
15. Training and Communication
Sachsen Fahnen ensures that the principles set out in this Code of Conduct, as well as the relevant company policies, are communicated to all employees and can be applied in their day-to-day work. All employees receive regular training on key aspects of corporate responsibilty.
These training topics include, in particular:
- corporate ethics and responsible business conduct
- sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- environmental responsibility and the protection of natural resources
- fair working conditions
- the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) and respectful conduct within the company
- occupational health and safety
Such training is generally provided at the beginning of employment and at regular intervals thereafter, but at least once a year. Apprentices interns, and new employees are also familiarized with the relevant company policies at an early stage.
These include, in particular:
- publication on the company website
- availability through the internal document management system or document center
- provision to new employees at the start of their employment
- information notices within the company, for example in break rooms or common areas
